Five Tips to Follow For Feng Shui Bedroom
1. Bed in commanding Position: The bed is the most important piece of furniture in the bedroom. So the commanding position should be occupied by it. The bed should be arranged in such a way that you can see the door when you are lying in it, but it should not be directly in line with the door. Make sure there is a headboard. The headboard should be strong and solid without any gaps or open holes. It is advisable to not have a headboard on the other side of the toilet wall. Feng Shui recommends that no doors in the house should open up directly onto any part of the bed.
2. Open space under the bed. Make sure there is no clutter under the bed. The best practice is to have absolutely nothing stored under the bed. But light sleep-related items like blankets and pillows are not considered too obstructive to optimal Chi flow under the bed.
3. Pay attention to color schemes on bedroom walls and ceiling. Stick to mood and nature-inspired color schemes. In Feng Shui, the color scheme should be inspired by what kind of energy you want to have in the room.
4. Accessorize in pairs. Pairs invite harmony in Feng Shui. Try to have accent pieces in pairs. For example a pair of nightstands, one for each side of the bed. Get a pair of toss pillows or a pair of blankets, pair of matching lamps, etc.
5. Consult the Bagua map. Many elements you incorporate depend on what kind the energy you want to have in your most personal space. The Bagua map will guide you in customizing your bedroom to optimize the flow of chi as per your requirement.
