You’ll get better service and food for your money. I wanted to like this place really bad and was expected to be blown away with the service and food. I was, however, completely wrong. I can’t believe this restaurant even apart of The Pelican Hills! I’ve been here several times for Pelican Grill and afternoon tea; never was I once disappointed until now. Service: Our waiter did not smile, say hello or make us feel welcome at all. I know sometimes those smiles are not real, but isn’t this restaurant suppose to be one of the “Top 50 Best Restaurant in U.S.”? Additionally, the server was inattentive! We had to wait 15 minutes for him to complain the food to us, we had to wait another 15 minutes for him to come back to take our order, and then we had to wait another 15 minutes for him to get our check. Oh, I forgot, I had to wait another 15 minutes for him to get me a cup of hot water than never came! And, he took our order wrong, so we had to wait another 15 min for him to fix our order too. Seriously, this is the kind of service you get at a top 50 restaurant? I’m so confused? So sad, so disappointed, so not coming back here every again. Food: For a so called Top 50 Restaurant in the US; the food is nothing but blah. It wasn’t anything special at all and it was just a-ok. Nothing about the food was right. The taste wasn’t right, the food wasn’t hot, the seasoning was not there and it was just plain boring food. I was really really disappointed. Bottom line: There are at least a hand full of restaurant that are “not” Top 50 Restaurant in the US that serves way better food and give way better service than this place. ——- For the manager: Thank you for linking me to the website. I will e-mail the editor to inform them of your bad service so they can look into it when your restaurant up for review for the up coming year.”}]
