(for some reason the session didn’t registered on the system, which was fine, but she should’ve at least get back to me.) i was pretty upset and went with Marielle instead, and i was really glad that everything went really smoothly afterwards! (highly recommended her!) even though this gym is a bit small and crowded, and also smells a bit. it’s at least clean and the staff are courteous and friendly. the women’s shower and locker room is clean and spacious unlike LA fitness in Santa Monica (a lot of their shower stalls have doors without handles and it’s old and gross). they validate parking up to 2 hrs. the attendants there are super nice as well! i ran into some problems in the past and they were very helpful! Not the cleanest. It takes a while for things to get fixed. The staff however is OUTSTANDING! Everyone there is friendly and greets you whenever you come in.Santa Monica, CA: Too crowded! But better than average looking gym rats! The Good: Mostly young Santa Monica professional types working out with minimal fat, hairy men, and cave man meat head grunters like the Pico location The Bad: Too many of the aforementioned good looking young people. Machine time is a wait, and their cramped and crowded together The Ugly: Pay for parking! (Validation is available, reducing the first 2 hours to only 25 cents. The Good: This is a Sport level, so most of the amenities are here, unlike the Express location near the Promenade, which has no lockers, just machines The Bad: Sauna, Steam, but no Jacuzzi? Plus the Men’s locker room is not connected to the pool/sauna/steam like most 24 hours. You have to go through the Abdominals room, then down the stairs. The ugly: I was roaming through all the rooms in only swim trunks looking for the pool area! The Good: 2 Group X rooms, and 16 classes of yoga a week! The Bad: No place to wait for the Group X rooms, adding to the congestion The Ugly: This place is an old racquetball set-up, so boxy rooms, stairs up and down to go from CV to weights, etc. and ventilation could be better to reduce the 30 years of sweat in the walls. It isn’t very clean and machines aren’t the latest equipment. The Good: Large locker rooms with movable benches, shower dividers The Bad: for a visitor, it is a catacomb of rooms for showers, toilets, sinks, adjoining locker room areas, etc. Plus the Men’s are upstairs. The Ugly: I almost walked in to the Women’s in swim trunks, and after showering, almost walked out into the treadmill area with just a towel on! There are definitely better 24 Fitness “Sport” locations I’ve been to that are cleaner, with newer equipment, and less crowds. There just aren’t any within 15 miles of this westside location.”},{“value”:”No description has been provided for this business. Are you the business owner?”}]
